THE draw for the quarter-finals of the Tennent’s Cup was announced earlier this afternoon with holders Melrose facing Watsonians, the team they defeated at the semi-final stage last year. The winner of that match will play either Ayr or Currie Chieftains, who have been drawn against each other at Millbrae, in the last four.

On the other side of the draw, Jed-Forest  – the only non-Premiership team left in the competition  – host Heriot’s; while Hawick host Stirling County at Mansfield Park, in a reversal of last year’s semi-final when the two sides met at Bridgehaugh.

The National League Cup draw was also revealed with Highland hosting Preston Lodge, Kelso hosting Kirkcaldy, Musselburgh hosting Newyon Stewart and Falkirk hosting Aberdeen Grammar.

The matches are scheduled to be played on the weekend of 16th February 2019, with the semi-finals on 30th March 2019.
