The broadcasting of 14 live matches will allow us to shine a spotlight on the next generation of professional players, coaches and match officials in Scotland, whilst providing a platform to showcase what is sure to be an entertaining seven weeks of rugby.
“We’re committed to providing more high-performance opportunities and with the addition of A teams from both Edinburgh Rugby and Glasgow, this provides players from the six licence teams an opportunity to challenge themselves against new and different opposition.”

Will the SRU openly review its progress to date before
deciding what follows it from 2024 onwards ?
At least with Alba the production values will be decent. The Premier sports (now Viaplay) coverage would have shamed an amatuer with a ten year old mobile phone. Has to said though that the iPlayer coverage has been patchy in the past with both this and other rugby tournaments in terms of games being missed out due to unannounced schedule changes.
