Squads for Under-19 1872 Cup clash announced

Youngsters will hope to push their case for selection to Scotland's Under-20s programme this season

THE squads to play in tomorrow’s [Tuesday] Under-19 1872 Cup clash have been named. The game will be played at Scotstoun, kicking off at 3pm, between Edinburgh and Glasgow Warriors sides selected from players who represent the two pro clubs’ wider regions.

The match has been identified by Kenny Murray, ‘Head of Player Transition’ for Scottish Rugby, as an important opportunity for players to push their claim for inclusion in Scotland’s Under-20s squad this season.
