  1. Agree with Rory Bannerman’s comments.
Suggest the three women’s finals could be played elsewhere and or on a different day to allow the men’s final to kick off at a reasonable time, not the 7.15pm as suggested.
The women’s game has piggy backed the men’s game up till now which is well and good but they should perhaps now play on a different date to allow each code find it’s own space and place in the fixture calendar. After all the women’s international games are on different dates to the men’s, with Murrayfield and the Hive not exactly over used or unavailable in the coming weeks.

  2. 7.15pm for the final final is showing a characteristic disregard for players and families alike.
Whether Hawick are in the final or not this is typical. Expect many fans to have to vote with their feet and just watch it on tv.
Little or no consultation , regard or respect .
Last season the finalists did not even get dressingrooms in the grandstand, and the game was played in the freezing cold with very limited shelter or guidance from any knowledgeable staff for fans, with those sides having 2 hour journeys home. So whichever teams are in the final they had best prepare for a less than golden experience.
For the other finals i hope it is a great experience.

  3. Good stuff. If this matches up to the pre Covid Silver Saturday it will be a great spectacle. Glad it’s getting streamed/ broadcast.
