SCOTSTOUN STADIUM in Glasgow will host the Final of the inaugural Super6 domestic season on Saturday 28th March (kick-off 7.20pm), it has been announced. The game will be broadcast live on BBC Scotland.
With one round of the regular season still to play, the teams involved in the end of season play-offs have already been confirmed – Watsonians, Heriot’s, Ayrshire Bulls and Southern Knights – although the final seedings will not be clear until the final round of matches is completed (assuming Saturday’s postponed game between Boroughmuir Bears and Ayrshire Bulls goes ahead next weekend).
How it stands –
“It’s fantastic for the tournament that the final of the FOSROC Super6 can take place a Scotstoun Stadium,” said tournament technical director Stephen Gemmell. “The playing surface and professional facilities Scotstoun boasts provides a great platform for the climax of the competition and a destination final to which all of the teams can aspire.
“It’s also great news the match will be broadcast live on BBC Scotland as this allows the best of part-time professional rugby in Scotland to be showcased to an audience across the country”.
