SCOTLAND backs Sean Maitland and Chris Harris have been ruled out of Saturday’s Six Nations clash against Wales due to foot and calf injuries, respectively, sustained whilst playing club rugby in the English Premiership last weekend.

Maitland scored two tries  for Saracens against Northampton Saints before being replaced on 48 minutes. He has been 39 caps and started on the wing for Scotland in their two most recent matches against Ireland and France.

Utility-back Harris played the full match for Newcastle Falcons against Worcester Warriors. He has been capped seven times, with five of those appearances off the bench.

Their absence increases the likelihood of Edinburgh winger Darcy Graham making his first start for the national team on Saturday.

Subs;  Elliot Dee, Nicky Smith, Dillon Lewis, Jake Ball, Aaron Wainwright, Aled Davies, Dan Biggar, Owen Watkin.
