A SQUAD of 26 players flew to Spain this afternoon to play a warm-up match on Saturday night, ahead of their World Trophy campaign in Kenya at the end of July.

Spain are favourites to face Scotland in that tournament final, with the winner securing promotion to the top tier Junior World Championship in 2024.

Scotland ended up in the second-tier Trophy after finishing last in the 2019 Junior World Championship, which is the last time the competition was played before Covid forced a three year hiatus.
