SCOTLAND A’s match against England A, which was supposed to be played in Leicester this afternoon, has been cancelled due to an ongoing Covid outbreak in the Scotland squad. The game will not be re-arranged.
The Scotland squad reported one positive Covid case and eight close contacts on Friday, and had to call in five players in order to field a team this weekend. Now, three further positive results have been returned from a round of Covid testing conducted on Saturday morning, which has forced the abandonment.
Contact tracing will determine if any other members of the squad will need to start self-isolating.

England will turn their attention to their Test matches against USA on 4th July and Canada on 10th July, both at Twickenham Stadium.
Ticket holders for the A match will receive an automated refund in the coming days.

I hope everyone affected is ok.
Just shows this virus hasn’t went away. I fear we may seem similar issues when the club game restarts.
