KYLE STEYN has been called into Scotland’s starting XV for tomorrow [Saturday] evening’s final World Cup warm-up match against Georgia at Murrayfield in place of Darcy Graham, who has a “mild strain to his quad”.
The rest of the Scotland squad for this match is unchanged to that announced on Wednesday by head coach Gregor Townsend.
Steyn is on a high at the moment after scoring a brace in his last Scotland outing during a narrow defeat away to France a fortnight ago.

More time and money must be spent on youth rugby as new season kicks-off
Our chances hVe always been long. I reckon we have no more than 10% chance of progressing.
SA look extremely impressive but every match is it’s own event, ABs can’t be so bad again, with a different ref the bounce of a ball and getting our game right we can get at them. So we just need to give it our best tilt and if it doesn’t go our way dust ourselves down for a crack at the rest of the group and especially Ireland. I’d rather go down fighting in our style than meekly accepting we’re not good enough.
At least we are in no doubt what is coming…fearsome performance from the Boks – just a wee hope that they think they’ve cracked it and can’t get back to that level. Surprise still on our side – just not that big a card. They look as though they have timed this run to RWC to perfection. But… don’t we love being the underdog, bizarrely it may lift the shackles of our lads as they now have nothing to lose, ever the optimist, we have a shot at this!
I think at the very least we can expect some highly entertaining games, for us and the neutral. All the commentary I see say how it’s a joy to watch Scotland.
Dids anyone see the Boks vs the ABs…..absolute wow..how do we even come close. Field the second team and hope to beat Ireland?
I’ve suggested our only chance against SA would be to catch them ‘cold’ but that seems to out of the question after last night. Without being defeatist it now seems like we have to look at the Ireland game as a must win in order to progress. That said I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more lack lustre performance from the AB’s.
