GLASGOW WARRIORS pair Rory Darge and Scott Cummings have been added to Scotland’s training squad ahead of Sunday’s Six Nations round four clash against Ireland at Murrayfield after recovering from long-term injuries.

Their Warriors team-mates, Stafford McDowall and Simon Berghan, have also returned to the group after missing the France week due to being on club duty in South Africa.

The suspended Grant Gilchrist (Edinburgh) and Josh Bayliss (Bath) have returned to their clubs.

It is understood that Finn Russell is taking a full part in training today [Tuesday] after playing 80 minutes with a bandaged left leg for Racing 92 on Sunday night against Toulouse.

Darge has recently returned to action after four and a half months out with an ankle injury playing 55 minutes in Warriors’ loss to the Lions two weekends ago, before managing 66 minutes of his club’s 50-8 win over Zebre on Friday night.

Cummings has now played three matches since recovering from a foot injury suffered in late October.
