RANKIN AND BRADBURY APPOINTED TO GOVERNING BODIES

SCOTTISH RUGBY has appointed a new representatives to each of the Rugby Europe and the Celtic Rugby Limited boards.

Scottish Rugby Council member, Dee Bradbury joins Rugby Europe, the European Governing body for the sport, which represents the interests of 49 different nations.

The appointment will see Bradbury join Scottish Rugby’s Chief Operating Officer, Dominic McKay at Rugby Europe. She has been a Scottish Rugby Council member since 2013 and is now eligible to sit on a number of Rugby Europe sub-committees looking at developing the game and women’s rugby.

McKay has recently replaced Archie Ferguson as Scotland’s representative to the Executive Committee at Rugby Europe which is responsible for operational and strategic development of the game.

Meanwhile, former Scottish Rugby President Ian Rankin has been appointed to the Celtic Rugby Limited board, replacing current Scottish Rugby President Ed Crozier on the league’s board. Once again, McKay, is the other Scottish representative.
