Into the pack, the mobile Cole Imrie of Edinburgh Accies was solid in the set-piece and worked hard around the park against Musselburgh to earn selection at loose-head, Fraser Renwick sneaks in at hooker after winning a couple of turnovers and fronting up in defence on a disappointing day for Hawick, and Marcus Goodwin is at tight-head prop after a big afternoon for Glasgow Hawks.
Joss Arnold was a useful source of possession at line-out time and worked hard as Musselburgh dug in to claim a four-try bonus-point away to Edinburgh Accies, so he joins Ally McCallum, who is selected just ahead of his Currie Chieftains team-mate Will Inglis, in the second-row.
James Glendinning, who made the move from Gala to Kelso during the summer, provided valuable power to the Kelso pack as the Borderers made it two draws from two matches since their promotion back to the top flight of Scottish club rugby against Heriot’s Blues at Poynder Park.
