SATURDAY’S Premiership match between Musselburgh and Glasgow Hawks at Stoneyhill has been postponed due to a positive Covid test result in the home team’s senior squad. Musselburgh’s 2nd XV match versus Stewart’s Melville will also not go ahead.

“As a precautionary measure we advise that anyone who has been in contact with any member of our senior team since last Saturday to take daily lateral flow tests,” said a statement issued by Musselburgh. “Mini and Youth Rugby Convenors have been advised that all rugby activity can continue as normal.

“Our Christmas Jumper lunch can still take place and we again advise that anyone who is attending to take regular lateral flow tests before arriving on the day.”

The next standby date for Premiership matches is 12th February.
