PAUL CUNNINGHAM recovered from an early fumble which gifted Glasgow Hawks the opening try to score two tries of his own and register an outstanding second half performance as Musselburgh completed their Houdini act at Balgray. That sees him retain the full-back jersey, selected just ahead of Andy McLean, his opposite number on Saturday, Kirk Ford of Hawick, Grant Mollison of GHA and Mason Cullen of Jed-Forest.
Max Wallace started on the right wing then moved to centre at half-time and was accomplished in both positions as Edinburgh Accies came out on top at Riverside so he wears No 14, while Robbie Shirra-Gibb took his try well for Jed-Forest and is always a threat for the Borderers so wears No 11.
Oisin Quinn played a key role in the middle of the park as Heriot’s Blues secured their Premiership status for next season with an away win at Selkirk so he is at outside-centre, partnering the industrious Rory Smith of Musselburgh at inside-centre.

Six takeaways for a Six Nations fallow week
Jamie Loomes took his try well as he helped guide Accies to a bonus-point away win in a ferocious contest against Jed so he is in at stand-off, while GHA’s Fergus Johnston edges it at scrum-half just ahead of Danny Owenson of Musselburgh and Graham Wilson of Heriot’s Blues, with an honourable mention also going to and Eric Davey of Glasgow Hawks.
Ross Hanning of Mussselburgh came off the bench after just five minutes and stood up well against Gary Strain so is at loose-head prop, hooker Danny Dineen was man-of-the-match for Heriot’s Blues, and Michael Fox put in a mighty shift as GHA pushed table-toppers Hawick all the way before coming up just short.
The rugged work-rate of Jake Mills of Edinburgh Accies and Sean Callaghan of GHA earns them the nod in the engine-room, with Charlie Jupp of Heriot’s Blues and Musselburgh pair William Fleming and Jamie Campbell missing out on this occasion.
In the back-row, Connor Sutherland of Hawick links up with Paul Bogie of Musselburgh and Ali Johnston of Heriot’s Blues.
