SCOTLAND have dropped Finn Russell to the bench for Saturday’s final match of this Six Nations campaign against Ireland in Dublin, with Blair Kinghorn, who missed last weekend’s win over Italy for “personal reasons” named as starting stand-off.

The other change to the starting XV is in the second-row, where fit again Jonny Gray is selected ahead of Sam Skinner, who drops to the bench.

Meanwhile, Fraser Brown is preferred to Stuart McInally as hooker cover, Josh Bayliss replaces Magnus Bradbury as back-row replacement, Ben White is preferred to Ben Vellacott as back-up scrum-half, and Mark Bennett returns to the squad in place of Sione Tuipulotu.

Scotland (v Ireland at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday @ 4.45pm): S Hogg©; D Graham, C Harris, S Johnson, K Steyn; B Kinghorn, A Price; P Schoeman, G Turner, Z Fagerson, J Gray, G Gilchrist (VC), R Darge, H Watson, M Fagerson.

Replacements: F Brown, A Dell, W Nel, S Skinner, J Bayliss, B White, F Russell, M Bennett.
