THE match-day squads for round one of the Inter-District Championship are listed below. The campaign starts with champions Caledonia Reds travelling to take on Glasgow & The West at Braidholm, while Edinburgh host The South at Stoneyhill.

  1. Great to see the inter-district championship back again. Will Glasgow/Edinburgh get their 1872 cup back now, or will it be deemed too valuable a marketing tool for the SRUs pro teams Christmas double-header?

  2. Let’s hope the Hawick boys can perform for the south could be in big trouble! The Edinburgh team looks very strong

    It will be interesting to see where the Hawick boys heads are at.. they have had a very busy week if the rumours are true….
