DANNY Wilson has reshuffled his Glasgow squad for tomorrow night’s game against Zebre, making three changes in the backs and four in the pack from the 15 that began last week’s defeat by Cardiff.

The alterations start at full-back, where Domingo Miotti replaces Josh McKay, while Stafford  McDowall takes over from Sam Johnson at inside centre and Jamie Doibe is at scrum-half instead of Ali Price. There is a new front row, with Oli Kebble, Johnny Matthes and Murphy Walker – all substitutes last week – replacing Jamie Bhatti, Fraser Brown and Zander Fagerson. Bhatti is on the bench, but Grant Stewart is the hooker replacement while Enrique Pieretto is in line to come on at tighthead.

The final change sees Rob Harley named to start at lock in what could be his last game at Scotstoun. It was announced earlier this week that Harley, the club’s record-holder for appearances, will leave at the end of the season. He starts in the second row instead of Richie Gray.

Sean Kennedy and Robbie Fergusson come on to the  bench after missing out last week.

“For 50 minutes we played some great rugby last weekend, but the last half an hour was well below the standards we expect of ourselves as a team,” Wilson said after naming his squad. “We know we’ll need a full 80-minute performance on Friday night against Zebre. Being back at home for our final regular season home game is one of the motivators for us to put in a better performance.

“There is also added motivation as this could be Rob Harley’s final home game for the club. Rob epitomises what it means to be a Warrior and is a guy who has given a huge amount to the club and we want to celebrate his career with a strong showing tomorrow night.”
