THE PRO14 match between Edinburgh and Benetton, which was supposed to be played at Murrayfield tomorrow [Sunday] afternoon, has been postponed after one positive Covid result in the away team’s camp.

“Due to a concern around close contacts and having considered all of the available evidence, the PRO14 Rugby Medical Advisory Group has deemed that this fixture cannot go ahead as scheduled,” said a statement issued by Edinburgh Rugby.

“PRO14 Rugby will look at available dates from April 2021 onwards to reschedule the game.”

Benetton were due to fly in and out of Edinburgh on Sunday, so did not travel.
