EDINBURGH will head to Paris at the start of next month to take on Finn Russell’s Racing 92 in the round of 16 of the European Champions Cup.
It is a daunting challenge for Richard Cockerill‘s side against last year’s beaten finalists, and if they manage to secure a surprise win then they face another away tie in the quarter-finals against either Bordeaux-Begles or Bristol Bears.
Meanwhile, Glasgow Warriors will face Montpellier away in the last 16 of the second-tier Challenge Cup. Should they win that match, they will host the winner of Benetton versus Agen in the quarter-final.
The round of 16 matches in both tournaments are to be played on the weekend of 2nd to 4th April, with the quarter-finals to be played the following weekend.
