
CANADIAN international Djustice Sears-Duru has signed a short-term contract with Glasgow Warriors until the end of the season.
The loosehead prop arrived in Glasgow on Sunday and began training with the squad this week.
Sears-Duru made his test debut in November 2013 at the age of just 19 – becoming the youngest prop and the third youngest player to have represented Canada.Sears-Duru has 16 caps for his country.
His second start for Canada was against the Warriors in a pre-season fixture in Nova Scotia last August.
The 21-year-old has 16 caps for his country and represented Canada in all four pool matches at last year’s Rugby World Cup in England. He was one of only five players to play in all four of Canada’s 2015 Pacific Nations Cup matches.
He is a graduate of Canada’s age grade rugby programme and spent a year in the Leicester Tigers Academy.
“I talked to DTH (van der Merwe), Connor (Braid) and Taylor (Paris) and they all had good things to say about the club,” said Sears-Duru.
