Date for Edinburgh’s Challenge Cup quarter-final clash confirmed

EDINBURGH will finally get to play their coronavirus-postponed Challenge Cup quarter-final clash away to Bordeaux-Begles on Saturday 19th September with a 1.30pm kick-off local time (12.30pm kick-off BST). The match will be shown live on BT Sport.

Tournament organisers EPCR stated last month that the weekend of 18th to 20th September had been earmarked for the return of European rugby but only confirmed the exact timings earlier today.

  1. What is the position on Team squad eligibility i.e. Do they stick to the previous named 19/20 squads or could Edinburgh face Bristol Bears with Radradra, who they have already faced with Bordeaux, and Edinburgh field Chamberlin?
