ROSS CURLE was handed a two week suspension on Wednesday night [5th April] by an SRU disciplinary panel for a no-arms tackle which led to the centre being red carded towards the end of Ayr’s BT Premiership play-off semi-final victory over Glasgow Hawks at Millbrae on Saturday.

That means the 29-year-old will miss the club’s BT Premiership play-off Grand Final against Melrose at The Greenyards on 15th April, but he will be available when the two teams meet again in the BT Cup Final on 22nd April – which is expected to be his last game for the club.
