Cross-hemisphere Rainbow Cup Final planned

The winners of the European and South African segments of the tournament will play each other on 19th June

THE RAINBOW CUP’s quest for relevance continues with news that a cross-hemisphere final has been arranged between the European team which has the best record from playing an assortment of other PRO14 sides and the winner of a South African round-robin tournament.

Planning for the match, which is to be played on 19th June, is now at an advanced stage and all written approvals are expected imminently for the game to take place at a European venue.
