JUST for fun, here is The Offside Line’s BT Premiership team of the week. An honourable mention to 39-year-old Gary Holborn, anchoring the Stirling County scrum in their away win at Heriot’s.

John Lydgate said: “You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time” As a 15th century Benedictine monk he probably didn’t spend much time thinking about Scottish rugby, where it is very hard to please any of the people any of the time – so we’re ready for the backlash!
