Ally Miller and Robbie Fergusson join Scotland 7s squad for Commonwealth Games

JOHN DALZIEL has made two injury-enforced changes to the Scotland 7s squad which will compete at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games this coming weekend.

Scotland 7s core squad player Gavin Lowe and Glasgow Warriors back-row Matt Fagerson have both dropped out due to hamstring injuries, and have been be replaced Melrose and Edinburgh back-row Ally Miller and another core squad member in Robbie Fergusson.

The team will face Papua New Guinea, Malaysia and South Africa in Pool A, from which only the top-ranked team will advance to the semi-finals for a chance to take home a medal.
