  1. Really good work there. Yesterday another channel to watch rugby on.

Will certainly raise the profile of the game 🙄

    • I don’t understand why everyone has such a problem with this.

Amazon Prime is literally the most accessible and available channel to watch rugby on. You can get a free trial and after that it costs £8.99 a month – miles cheaper than any other package.

We should absolutely be pushing to have more rugby on there instead of spreading games across BT, Viaplay or anything else.

      • more than that Lewis. 13 million households have Amazon Prime subscriptions so currently get the rugby as a free add on.
Also IIRC Prime already have the AIs for us, so this is just a follow on replacing them in a RWC season.
Prime will have been the top bidder. At base I’d prefer totally free to air broadcasts, but Scottish Rugby needs the cash; if we will the end we must will the means.

      • Does anyone under the age of 50 use the BBC etc on a regular basis anymore anyway? New audiences are on these subscription platforms. The Game needs money.
