THE second leg of this season’s 1872 Cup double-header between Edinburgh and Glasgow Warriors will be played at 6.30pm on Saturday 21st May at Murrayfield.

The two matches were supposed to be played over Christmas and New Year but had to be postponed due to a Covid outbreak in the Warriors squad. The first leg is being played at Scotstoun tonight.

As well as competing for the 1872 Cup trophy, the second leg clash could also determine United Rugby Championship play-off qualification and Champions Cup qualification.

Tickets for May’s match have been back on sale since January, with all existing tickets (match tickets, season tickets and half season tickets) valid. 15,000 tickets have already been sold for the match, which has a record crowd of 27,437 achieved in 2019.
